From coins and cash to credit cards, global currencies, digital payments, cryptocurrency and stablecoins, the way we create, move and think about money continues to evolve.

Join the British American Business Council of Orange County and Concordia University Irvine for a lively, accessible conversation exploring what money is, how it moves, where it may be going — and what all of this means for businesses and the CFOs responsible for navigating it.

The evening begins with a fast-paced journey through the history of money — from early forms of exchange and the gold standard to today’s increasingly digital financial world.

From there, we’ll open the conversation with perspectives from CFO leadership, foreign exchange and currency, and blockchain and digital payments.

We’ll explore questions including:

• What gives money value in the first place?
