Deirdre O’Neill Machin is CEO of The O’Neill Group (ONG) who specialize in conference management, event production, on site marketing, incentive and meeting management. Deirdre is also Co-Founder of IrelandWeek which is an initiative supported in part by the Irish Government to develop international relations in business, technology, culture, and entertainment between Ireland and the US.

Deirdre is originally from Dublin, Ireland and is based in Orange County. She has extensive international and domestic experience in the events and travel industry. She is a former Board member of The Society of Incentive Travel Executives (SITE), and is Past President of Skal International, Orange Coast which is a worldwide travel and event organization comprising of 22,000 members. Deirdre is also on the Board of BABC Orange County. She is actively involved in the Event Industry and has been a speaker at The Special Event Industry Show. Clients include Corporations, Foundations, Airlines, US and Irish Government bodies and Non Profit organizations.

Deirdre has been named Irishwoman of the Year by the City of Los Angeles and has received accolades from the city for her work on IrelandWeek and other business related projects.

Deirdre is married to Dean Machin, a photographer from London and they live in Orange County.
